Attention fellow bloggers!?
Im just wondering if anyone out there has been successful at blogging… meaning that people actually read your blog and post comments. I need practice in writing but I can’t seem to get anyone to view my blog. Do I need to change websites? If so, what ones have worked for you? Any additional tips would be appreciated!

Ij ust started and get about 30-50 users a day that stop by. I started about a week and a half ago and since them I’ve been trying to get my blog known like crazy. Meaning sending it to blog directroeis, posting on forums and of course doing this. Mine’s a fashion blog so I’ve been answering fashion questions on Yahoo Answers and then putting the link to my blog it really helps!! What is a blog? Blogging is a term used to describe the action Published content on a blog. Blog The word is derived from the word blog. A blog is a website that is confirmed by an individual, including the addition of compatible inputs. Blog entries may contain many different types of content. Some bloggers use their blogs for comments, graphics, audio or video. Using blogs is diverse. Some people use their blogs as a way to show their creative energy, showing poems, lyrics, music, or other forms of creative expression. On the other hand, some people use their blogs as a diary. Other blogs are used to express opinions or to discuss various topics. Blog entries are normally in reverse chronological order, which means that the entry most Recent blogs are listed first. The first entry that was created in the blog will be the latest entry in the display.
With the continued growth and popularity of blogs, there are many different types of blogs. These blogs are:
- Personal blogs: a blog maintained by one person using your blog as a journal.
- Company blogs: Can be private or public for commercial reasons. It is used to increase communication and culture in the establishment of modern business.
- Question Blogs: a blog that provides answers to many different issues. Normally Blogs about providing a presentation tool for readers question we must ask several questions.
- Video Blog: A blog comprising videos is considered a vlog.
- Blog Link: Blog Link compound is considered a linklog.
- Sketch Blog: view blog is considered a sketchblog sketch.
- Photo Blog: a blog to show photos, taken as a photoblog.
Blogs also can be classified by how they are deployed. For example, can be classified by the system used to write the blog. If you use your mobile device to manage your blog the blog is called a moblog. Blogs are also classified by gender. If your blog focuses on a particular topic, type have a blog. These blogs are political blogs, Fashion blogs, travel blogs, education blogs, or a project just to name a few.
Blogs have a huge amount increased popularity the last two years. Today, there are many different web sites dedicated to hosting blogs. These sites are known as communities of blogs.
For some people, the act of blogging caused his unwanted attention or having adverse circumstances. Blogging has led to many people over the end of their employment because of their content of blogs listed. Content posted on his blog at work, colleagues, products or financial matters related to their workplace would jeopardize their job. Because this site is meant as a frequently asked questions site, we thought we would help out our readers by giving them a quick browse glossary of common blogging terms and words to help those who are new to blogging figure out what’s going on. Nothing is worse than trying to figure something out and not understanding any of the jargon! So, without further ado, here is the Microblog Blogging Terms FAQ:
Blog: Short for Weblog, or a list of entries that are posted in reverse chronological order, with the newest entry or “post” located at the top of the site. Blogs began as lists of links and then evolved into lists of links with explanations before becoming what they are now—a variety of types of sites that are updated regularly.
Photoblogging: A blog or weblog that consists almost entirely of photos that have been taken by the blogger. Photo blogs are a great way to launch your career as a photographer or to supplement an already existing website. Sites like Flickr make online photo storage and upload easy for photobloggers.
Captcha: is a code that a person must type in when they want to fill out a form online. Many bloggers use them in their comments section to keep spam bots from filling up their comments sections with a bunch of junk that nobody cares about.
Trackback: Blog A links to Blog B. A pinging service alerts Blog B to Blog A’s reference. This ping is called a trackback and is displayed in the comments section. It is a way for a blogger to notify another blogger of being linked to or referenced.
Widget: A piece of code that gets plugged into the coding of a blog to make certain functions easier. Widgets are often used in sidebars to display photos or links or other elements. Their job is to cut down on the amount of time it takes the blogger to change various design or content elements of the blog.
Dooced: The act of getting fired for talking about your job on your blog. Heather Armstrong the author of the uber popular blog: Dooce was among the first to be fired from her job for talking about her job on her website. Her firing was talked about all over the internet and the term “Dooced” was coined.
RSS: Really Simple Syndication. It allows blog readers to “subscribe” to a blog to be alerted to new blog posts via an automated system—either by e-mail or in a “feed” reader.
Podcast: An audio recording made that can be downloaded and played in a portable mp3 player or via a computer. A podcast feels quite a bit like a radio show and can be about any subject. Many bloggers get together to do podcasts as a supplement to blogging.
Traffic: The amount of visits a blog site sees in a day. The higher the “traffic” a blog sees, the more popular that blog is.

Is there any blogs or chatlines that are dedicated to tarot or spells?
By the way, how do blogs work? What are the rules and how do they work. I am looking for something where people would be willing to share information on the topics.
www.tarotweaving.com is dedicated to Tarot as a blog spot, but it’s just getting started.
http://www.tarotconnection.net/ is a podcast on Tarot and there are links to Tarot blogs from there.
http://witchvox.com/ has quite a few blogs, I’m not sure I would say it’s dedicated to spells though. From there I’m sure you could find what your looking for.
There are a ton of groups on both those subjects. If you looking for someplace you can ask questions and get an answer I’d suggest groups vs blogs. Blogs are more one way communication.

how to search blogs
downloading music from blogs?
so a friend of mine downloads his music from blogs, i recently heard about this. i used to used file2hd.com but it hasn’t been working for like a month now & i will NOT download limewire(****** up my computer) or any type of software.
does anybody know how to do this or how i can search for blogs or which blogs?
I’m sure if your search for “music blog” you’ll find hundreds of links. Some will have downloadable music, others just reviews and samples. Bear in mind that much of this music is copyright so you may be breaking the law if you do it. However, it is almost impossible to track your downloads from sites where these files are stored (unless it’s a torrent) so it is unlikely that you will ever be prosecuted.

I’m trying to figure out how to attach articles I’ve written for other sites onto my blogging page, but don’t know how. I don’t want to just link the page, and I’ve tried copying and pasting, but the adds end up coming through, and I don’t want that. Does anyone know how to achieve this?
Don’t copy and paste directly to your blog page. All the ads will follow. What you can do is paste it to NotePad first. No ads will follow. Next, select the text you want, copy and paste it to your blog.

Music Codes that actually work for Yahoo 360° Blogs?
I am looking for the music video codes to these videos so I can put on my Yahoo 360° Blog. They are: Guns -n- Roses = Patience, Motley Crue= Without you, Def Leppard= Love Bites, Cinderella=Don’t know what you got, til its gone, and Jeff Healey= Angel Eyes…I have tried codes from youtube.com and flycodes.com, But those codes do not seem to work on the blogs. Choose a video from Yahoo video, Google, or to Youtube video that has either an “Add to My Site” field or “Embed” field or link on the description page. Copy the HTML code that’s in the field, go to “Compose Blog” in your 360º, Make sure you click the (“View HTML Source”) checkbox, paste in the code, uncheck the box and add text to the Blog entry and then post the entry.
