What is the best way for a young financial advisor to partner with an older advisor who is looking to retire?
I am a young financial advisor (currently studying for my CFP credentials) and I am very interested in partnering with another individual who has an existing practice (book of business) and is eventually looking to retire in the future.
Right now there is a large demand by older financial advisors who are looking to partner with young advisors who will help them grow the business and eventually take it over upon retirement. I haven’t found any good locations on the web (or live) to find these individuals or even places where I can learn more about this (i.e. blogs, chat rooms, etc.). If anyone has any information about doing this, please let me know.
Are there any websites or chat rooms where advisors are currently partnering up with younger advisors?
Earn your stripes. Do well on your CFP courses and make wise choices investing as you gain a clientele. Then you can promote yourself on that basis within the realm of other CFPs. Look them up in an association locally.

From Concept To Community: How I Built An Online Community And Took It Viral In 25 Days With Little Money And No SEO $2.99 I announced the official launch of my new online community, Publetariat.com, on 2/11/2009. English & Language Arts: Writing a Homeschooling Blog
Would you like to have your own online journal to share information, experiences, thoughts, opinions, advice, and suggestions about homeschooling and your life as a homeschool parent? Then consider starting a homeschool blog. Blogging is a more recent and very popular phenomenon on the Internet.
A blog, or “web log,” is an online journal website where you can post entries as often and as long or short as you’d like. Blogs are usually subject-based and are geared toward a specific audience, and in this case, your main subject would be about homeschooling, attracting a readership of homeschool students and homeschool families or other individuals interested in homeschooling. Blogs also feature comments that allow your readers to provide feedback to a particular entry.
If you’re concerned about the fact that your writing abilities may not be “good enough,” take heart. The blogging world is fairly casual. You don’t have to be a stellar writer and your grammar and spelling need not be perfect. You do, however, need to have something to say. You need to find a voice, write in an interesting, engaging style, post often (or at least regularly), and interact with your readers through comments.
First of all, what can you write about homeschooling, the homeschool life, and your homeschooler? There are endless ideas here. You can write about the different benefits of homeschooling, the challenges of having a homeschool, how to switch from public school to homeschool, personal experiences, your children as homeschool students, opportunities for homeschool families, and curriculum issues and ideas.
Now that you have some ideas of what to write, you need to find your writing style. First, try to write the way you speak or think. Forget about being technical or trying to be a professional-be natural and relaxed, like you’re having a conversation. For example, don’t just regurgitate online research about Homeschooling, talk about your real homeschool experiences as well as thoughts and stories about your homeschooler. Also, keep your audience in mind as you write, and finally, check out other blogs about homeschool families or homeschooling to get a feel for it.
Furthermore, make sure you write in your blog regularly. You will lose your readership fast if you’re sporadic. It’s best to write as often as you can, even if you write short entries about your particular day as a homeschool parent. Posting daily or every other day is generally recommended, but if you can’t, try at least to post regularly and consistently so your readers will know when your blog will be updated.
Finally, interact with your readership. If someone comments on one of your posts about your thoughts of the homeschool life, reply with your own feedback so your readers know you are interested in their responses.

why blogging is important

Blogging – How Important is it to Update Your Blog on a Regular Basis?
So how often should you update your blog?
Updating your blog automatically every hour or so with junk articles using an automatic blog posting system is not recommended but updating your blog every day or so with well written or original content is highly desirable. Having several blogs might seem like a good idea but one has to have the time or resources available to update them regularly.
Technically from a marketing and social aspect it might seem like a good idea to update or add new content to your blog to get a constant flow of traffic to your blog. However one must remember that the web spiders might send traffic to your website from content that pleases them and ranks your blog higher but people read your blog. Web spiders might like junk articles because they are keyword rich and search engine optimized but people spend money not web spiders. Ultimately you have to please your readers to make money from a business blog.
Frequently updating your blog will also allow you to get your blog pings accepted more often and have your blog listed on the front of blog directories. So you could invest in one of the many automatic blog posters that spin the articles you load up hundreds at a time to make them appear unique to the search engine spiders. My experience though has been that the readability of these articles to the potential buyer is inferior to human written unique articles and in some cases they are difficult to read and understand. My question is therefore how can you become an expert in your niche market with these junk articles?
Updating your blog regularly is also important if you use social marketing sites to spread the word about your blog in order to get traffic to your website. Social marketing however is all about human connections so your blog needs to be readable and easy to understand when these people take interest in your social network posts and visit your blog.
Having a blog is not just about making money online but is also about connecting with other blog owners who share common interests. Updating your blog will give them an incentive to visit your blog regularly, post comments and refer their readers to your blog. If you do the same to their blogs it ultimately creates lots of back links for everyone concerned and helps to rank your blog and website higher in the search engine results.
About the Author
Therefore it is important to update your blog regularly with interesting and unique content that is well written and readable by humans as well as the search engine spiders to build both marketing and social marketing relationships that encourage people to return and visit your blog. Please give me your thoughts- I always award a best answer.
Thanks!
My Space. It has every thing your looking for and more. Good Luck making a account.
You could also make one on Weebly. They use a different type of coding then my space, and they have every thing myspace does.
Weebly is easier to use, but its not as popular for blogs because it can be used for any type of website.

famous people who have blogs

Why the hell do people allow the Kardashians to have their celebrity status?
They are the most manipulative b!tch3s I know. They always say controversial stuff on purpose so they can be on gossip blogs/ sites/ magazines. They are also manipulative for other reasons. People who work their a55e$ off aren’t even famous at all and they’re famous for not even a good reason. Their reality shows are scripted as well and nobody seems to realise this because they are stupid. And they never admit why they are famous in the first place (nuff said), at least other people who are famous for stupid reasons can admit it, gosh. Tell me people why do you allow the Kardashians to have their celebrity status?
SilverWillow you are a legend!!!
It’s not like we can stop them. I know they’re famous for stupid reasons, alot of people are. Blame it on whoever decided that “Reality TV” was a good idea. I hate ALL reality shows. The Kardashians are famous because they have money, just like Paris Hilton and because stupid people sit and watch stupid crap like that.I wish that I could have a Nielsson’s rating box on my TV, and maybe someone would get the hint that reality tv sucks!! All summer long that is all that is on- reality tv! I have enough reality in my own life, I don’t need to watch someone else’s “fake” reality crap
